PTLLC-Notre Dame d’Haiti Catholic Church is considered to be the living room of the Haitian American Community in South Florida. It is a spiritual hub that has been providing spiritual, educational, social, and relief services to the Haitian Community in Miami and Haiti for the past 39 years.
The center offers 2,178.1 square feet of classroom space. Recently, the Archdiocese allocated $1,200,000 to renovate the facilities to continue the operation of the center with its different programs, such as the literacy program, the day-care center, the after-school and summer programs. Due to its outstanding track record in servicing the Haitian American Community, Notre-Dame often engages in ecumenical partnerships, as a channel to provide much-needed services to the Haitian Community, as witnessed post-January 12, 2010 earthquake where Notre-Dame spearheaded and was the depository for 75% of all relief aid being transported to Haiti.
